Fieldwork Associate – SEZ Data Collection (KP, Sindh & Other Provinces)

About the role

The Revenue Mobilisation, Investment and Trade (REMIT) Programme, funded by the UK FCDO and implemented by Adam Smith International, is seeking Fieldwork Associates to support the SEZ Phase‑Out Implementation Plan. The role involves on‑the‑ground data collection, verification and stakeholder coordination across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh and other provinces.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and verify SEZ‑related financial, operational and infrastructure data from authorities, developers and enterprises.
• Conduct site visits to assess operational status, colonisation levels and infrastructure readiness.
• Validate information on enterprise activity, development stage, operational constraints and incentive utilisation.
• Gather and organise documentation such as development agreements, enterprise agreements and approvals for legal review.
• Coordinate provincial‑level stakeholder consultations, meetings and workshops with the Board of Investment, Special Investment Facilitation Council and REMIT technical team.

Required profile

• Experience in field‑based data collection and verification.
• Familiarity with special economic zones or investment projects is advantageous.
• Ability to travel across provinces and engage with government and private sector stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills to manage documentation and coordinate workshops.
