Finance & Accounts Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Finance & Accounts Assistant to manage bookkeeping across multiple entities and support month‑end closing activities. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, and assisting with reporting for a fast‑paced operational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end bookkeeping for eight accounting books across several countries using QuickBooks, Zoho Books, and Bukku.
• Record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, expenses, and bank entries.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and reconcile vendor and customer accounts.
• Support month‑end closing for each entity and maintain intercompany balances.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports for management.
• Ensure proper documentation, audit trails, and compliance with internal accounting policies.
• Coordinate with internal teams to guarantee timely and accurate financial data flow.
• Help verify payment processing and review supporting documentation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of relevant professional experience in finance or accounting functions.
• Basic understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting procedures.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Ability to work within structured workflows, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
