Finance Analyst – Tax & Compliance Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Analyst to join our Finance Team in Lahore. The role focuses on tax compliance, reporting and supporting audit activities across Income Tax, Sales Tax and Federal Excise Duty.

Key responsibilities

• Manage timely and accurate filing of Income Tax, Sales Tax and FED returns on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi‑annual and annual basis.
• Finalize input sales tax claims and ensure correct tax levy on company supplies.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations of all tax ledgers and follow up on unreconciled items with customers and vendors.
• Maintain records of advance tax deductions for incorporation in annual returns.
• Provide information for tax audits, enquiries and litigation, and prepare responses to revenue authorities.
• Issue withholding tax certificates to vendors, distributors and retailers and share records for legal compliance.
• Support internal and external auditors with taxation‑related queries.
• Ensure smooth monthly closing activities for Income Tax, Sales Tax and FED, including territory‑wise output tax recording.
• Implement new tax reports in systems to reduce manual tax risk.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to maintain contracts and agreements with distributors, key customers and vendors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA or ACMA.
• 4–6 years total experience, with 2–4 years focused on tax compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Pakistani tax regulations and filing requirements.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
