Finance Business Partner – Commercial

About the role

The Finance Business Partner – Commercial will work closely with the Head of Commercial Finance to drive financial performance across the commercial functions. You will be responsible for planning, forecasting, analysis and reporting, supporting decision‑making for Distribution, Marketing, Sales and related teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support the financial reporting team by communicating required accruals and adjustments.
• Prepare monthly rolling forecasts for the P&L.
• Lead the annual budget process and produce quarterly forecasts and schedules on time.
• Monitor departmental spending versus budget, highlighting material variances using system‑generated reports.
• Conduct primary and secondary sales analysis and margin analysis to ensure financial targets are met.
• Provide ad‑hoc analyses for complex decisions, present recommendations, and act as the financial lead in cross‑functional teams.
• Review customer credit terms, product pricing and discounts to ensure compliance with approved limits and margin objectives.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of relevant post‑qualification experience (CA, ACCA, ACMA or equivalent).
