Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Karachi. We're looking for a proactive, commercially minded Finance Manager with deep expertise in Pakistani policy and taxation. This is not a back‑office role; you will own compliance and planning, turn numbers into forward‑looking insight, and work directly with leadership to shape decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the company's compliance and planning.
• Serve as the in‑house authority on Pakistani matters and keep leadership informed of regulatory changes.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support long‑term growth.
• Turn financial data into clear insights and practical recommendations for leadership.
• Oversee and strengthen finance systems, processes, and controls.
• Lead and develop the finance team, setting priorities and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Partner with leadership and other departments as a trusted financial advisor.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills (non‑negotiable).
• ACA / ACCA / ACMA / FCA (or part‑qualified with strong experience); tax‑focused background is a major plus.
• 10+ years of experience with significant hands‑on Pakistani tax exposure (Big 4 or tax practice experience followed by industry is ideal).
• Strong command of income tax, federal and provincial sales tax, withholding regimes, and import taxation.
• Practical experience with an ERP (Odoo, SAP).
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
