Financial Analyst (FP&A)

About the role

Giant Group is seeking a hands‑on FP&A Financial Analyst to build budgets and forecasts, run variance analysis and turn results into clear dashboards and presentations for senior leaders and the UK finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain Excel‑based budgets, forecasts and scenario models, and prepare monthly cost and budget‑vs‑actual variance analysis with commentary.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather, organize and analyse financial data and contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, including leadership‑ready dashboards and presentations (Excel, PowerPoint, HTML).
• Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting and scenario planning, monitor KPIs and identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Prepare ad‑hoc financial analysis to support business initiatives and review Financial Associates’ work for accuracy and consistency.
• Automate manual reporting using tools such as SQL and AI‑assisted analysis.
• Support preparation of presentations for senior leadership, board meetings and ensure compliance with internal controls and reporting standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field from a reputable university.
• 6 months to 3 years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance.
• Advanced Excel skills (XLOOKUP, INDEX‑MATCH, SUMIFS, pivot tables, error‑checked models).
• Ability to explain numbers clearly in writing and verbally to non‑finance stakeholders.
• Strong PowerPoint skills and excellent English communication.
• Strong attention to detail, respect for controls and accuracy.
• Based in Lahore and comfortable working 12:00 pm – 9:00 pm PKT on‑site.
