Fleet & Logistics Data Analyst

About the role

Zar Goods Transport Company, a subsidiary of Zar Armaghan Group, operates a large fleet of trucks serving internal coal and cement trading as well as third‑party industrial clients. We are looking for a detail‑oriented Fleet & Logistics Data Analyst to join our Head Office in Islamabad and turn operational telemetry, trip sheets, and financial data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze trip, revenue, and cost data to identify top‑ and bottom‑performing trucks and optimize fleet yield.
• Detect leakage by auditing trip logs, reconciling fuel consumption with TrackIt GPS data, and eliminating non‑compliant entries.
• Redesign trip‑tracking workflows to capture driver and conductor allowances for precise cost allocation.
• Track performance across truck stands, the Peshawar workshop, and spare‑parts/scrap sales.
• Build and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and Excel reports integrating tracking software, ERP financial data, and operational logs.
• Collaborate with logistics managers, workshop leads, and finance teams to implement controls that plug revenue leakages.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Logistics/Supply Chain, Finance, Business Information Systems or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on data analytics experience, preferably in transportation, fleet management or logistics.
• Must be based in Islamabad or willing to relocate.

Required skills

• Advanced Power BI (DAX, data modeling, automated report generation).
• Expert‑level Microsoft Excel (Power Query, advanced lookup formulas, pivot reporting).
• Experience with enterprise ERP systems.
• Familiarity with GPS vehicle‑tracking platforms such as TrackIt.
