Front Desk Officer

About the role

The Front Desk Officer is a full-time, on-site role based at our hotels Sharae Faisal and Clifton in Karachi. The role involves greeting guests, managing check‑in and check‑out procedures, answering inquiries in person and by phone, and delivering a professional front‑desk experience.

Key responsibilities

• Handle reservations, maintain guest records and process payments and billing.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Respond to guest concerns and provide information on hotel services and local attractions.
• Support administrative tasks such as managing mail, maintaining front‑desk supplies and operating office equipment.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with guests and team members.
• Experience in receptionist duties, including managing check‑ins/check‑outs and handling reservations.
• Proven customer‑service orientation in a hospitality setting.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with hotel management or reservation software.
• Competent use of MS Office tools.
