Full‑Stack Engineer (Django, React Native, Next.js) – Remote

About the role

BeanBend is looking for a full‑stack engineer to join its remote team. You will work on backend services built with Django and PostgreSQL, create responsive front‑ends with React Native and Next.js, and manage the AWS infrastructure that powers the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs and database schemas using Django and PostgreSQL.
• Build and optimise responsive user interfaces in React Native and Next.js, integrating with backend services and third‑party APIs.
• Manage AWS resources (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch) and implement deployment pipelines, monitoring, logging and cost‑optimisation.
• Collaborate with product, data and QA teams to translate requirements into technical solutions, conduct code reviews and improve existing features.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform performance tuning and contribute to architectural decisions and documentation.

Required profile

• Strong experience in backend development with Django, REST APIs and PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in frontend development using React Native and Next.js.
• Hands‑on experience with core AWS services and infrastructure‑as‑code or deployment tooling.
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices: Git, automated testing, CI/CD and code review.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
