Gate Clerk – Inward/Outward Pass Management

About the role

The Gate Clerk will be the first point of contact at Kohinoor Mills' gate, ensuring that all material movements are properly authorised and recorded. This role supports the smooth flow of goods in a busy textile mill environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain and verify Inward Gate Pass (IGP) and Outward Gate Pass (OGP) records.
• Check delivery invoices, purchase orders and material descriptions against physical shipments.
• Record vehicle numbers, supplier and contractor details, and obtain required approvals.
• Maintain gate registers, update ERP or other company systems, and generate daily/monthly movement reports.
• Coordinate with Security, Stores, Purchase, Dispatch and other departments to prevent unauthorised material movement.
• Report discrepancies or incomplete documentation to supervisors.

Required profile

• Intermediate, D.Com or B.Com qualification.
• 1–3 years of experience in a textile mill or similar industrial setting.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office, Excel and ERP systems.
