Grid Manager / Area Sales Manager

About the role

The Grid Manager / Area Sales Manager is accountable for driving sales, revenue, and business development across a defined geographic grid. The role focuses on expanding mobile broadband services, optimizing channel performance, and ensuring high utilization of cell sites while maintaining excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead revenue growth for 3G/4G services and handset sales by establishing new smartphone shops and upgrading existing retail outlets.
• Expand channel offerings (SIM sales, VAS, MNP, MBB, post‑paid) by identifying high‑potential areas within the grid.
• Coordinate purchase orders with franchise partners to guarantee continuous stock availability.
• Manage end‑to‑end complaint handling, CSI monitoring, and quality assurance for customer service.
• Drive trade marketing activities, brand visibility, BTL promotions, and special events in the territory.
• Identify untapped market areas, guide BDOs on sales routing, and submit accurate sales forecasts for SIMs, scratch cards, and recharges.
• Train and supervise staff and retailers, ensuring product knowledge and compliance with SOPs and promotional targets.
• Maintain POS material availability and collaborate with technical teams to optimize network resources and site utilization.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• Proven experience in telecom sales, channel development, and retail management.
• Strong analytical skills for forecasting and performance monitoring.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
