Head of Business – Corporate & Commercial Banking

About the role

We are looking for an accomplished and strategic Head of Business – Corporate & Commercial Banking to lead growth and profitability of the division. The role will oversee business expansion, manage high‑value client portfolios and guide cross‑functional teams to deliver sustainable results.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Corporate & Commercial Banking strategy aligned with organisational objectives.
• Drive acquisition and management of large corporate and commercial clients to achieve revenue targets.
• Lead, mentor and build senior relationship managers and business development teams.
• Maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients, regulators and strategic stakeholders.
• Oversee profitability, portfolio quality and overall performance of the business.
• Ensure prudent credit risk management while supporting growth initiatives.
• Identify market opportunities, industry trends and innovative banking solutions.
• Collaborate with Risk, Operations, Treasury, Product and Compliance teams to deliver seamless solutions.
• Monitor performance against KPIs and implement corrective actions.
• Represent the organisation at industry forums and strategic partnerships.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of C‑Level leadership experience in Corporate & Commercial Banking.
• Proven track record of managing large corporate portfolios and delivering revenue growth.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field; MBA or professional banking qualifications a plus.
• Experience in international banking markets is advantageous.
• Willingness to relocate.
