Head of Engineering & Projects

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to head Engineering, Maintenance, Utilities, Reliability, Projects and Infrastructure Management at our manufacturing facility in Nooriabad. The role will shape engineering strategy, drive plant reliability and lead major capital projects to support growth and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Engineering, Maintenance, Utilities, Reliability and Infrastructure functions across the plant.
• Develop and execute strategies to improve reliability, operational efficiency and asset performance.
• Drive preventive, predictive and reliability‑centered maintenance (RCM) to maximize equipment availability and OEE.
• Manage CAPEX projects including plant expansion, machinery installation, automation, modernization and commissioning.
• Ensure continuous availability and optimisation of utilities such as power, gas, steam, water, compressed air, HVAC and wastewater treatment.
• Champion industrial automation and digital transformation initiatives involving PLC, SCADA, HMI, IIoT and CMMS.
• Lead root‑cause analysis, continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, TPM and cost‑optimization programmes.
• Oversee engineering budgets (OPEX & CAPEX), vendor relationships and procurement.
• Maintain compliance with EHS, ISO standards and statutory engineering requirements.
• Mentor and develop multidisciplinary engineering teams while collaborating with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, HR and HSE.

Required profile

• 13–15 years of progressive experience in engineering, maintenance, utilities, reliability and capital projects within a manufacturing environment.
• At least 3 years in a senior engineering leadership role.
• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering from a PEC‑recognised university; MS preferred.
