Head of New Ventures

About the role

The Head of New Ventures will drive the discovery, assessment, development, and launch of new business opportunities that align with the company’s long‑term strategy. Reporting to senior leadership, you will spearhead innovation initiatives, create new revenue streams, and expand the organization’s digital product portfolio for sectors such as banking, healthcare, and education.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research, trend analysis, and competitive intelligence to surface high‑potential growth opportunities.
• Identify emerging technologies, customer needs, and whitespace across target industries.
• Build and maintain a structured pipeline of innovation initiatives aligned with corporate strategy.
• Develop and validate business cases, financial models, and ROI projections for new ventures.
• Lead feasibility studies, risk assessments, and scenario planning.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end lifecycle of ventures from ideation to launch, scaling, or exit.
• Guide cross‑functional teams to prototype, pilot, and test MVPs or proof‑of‑concepts.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and acquisitions.
• Establish relationships with startups, technology partners, regulators, and investors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in strategy, venture building, and business development.
• Proven track record of launching and scaling new businesses, digital products, or platforms.
• Established working relationships with banking institutions.
