HR Generalist – Employee Relations & Operations

About the role

The HR Generalist will support daily HR operations, foster positive employee relations, ensure policy compliance, manage attendance and discipline matters, and coordinate performance management activities. This role acts as a trusted partner for both employees and management, helping to maintain a productive and engaged workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for employee concerns and workplace‑related issues.
• Resolve employee grievances promptly and professionally.
• Conduct counseling sessions on attendance, punctuality, conduct and performance.
• Promote a positive work environment through engagement initiatives and communication programs.
• Maintain and update employee records, personnel files and HR databases.
• Manage attendance, leave records and prepare HR reports, dashboards and workforce metrics.
• Monitor attendance trends, issue warning letters and maintain disciplinary records.
• Coordinate performance review cycles, assist managers with objectives and track progress.
• Support implementation of Performance Improvement Plans and generate performance‑related reports.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, support HR audits and keep employees informed of policy updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in employee relations and operations.
• Experience handling attendance management, disciplinary procedures and performance management processes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
