HR Manager - Talent Acquisition & Strategy

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic HR Manager to build and lead the HR function for a fast‑growing fashion & apparel startup. You will work directly with the CEO to shape a strong people culture, develop scalable HR processes, and drive organizational growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals and culture.
• Manage workforce planning and end‑to‑end talent acquisition, from job description creation to onboarding.
• Design and maintain onboarding programs to improve new‑hire integration and retention.
• Lead performance management systems, set objectives, and support continuous improvement.
• Foster positive employee relations, address concerns, and promote open communication.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives, including surveys and action plans.
• Coordinate payroll processes with finance to ensure timely, accurate compensation.
• Implement and maintain HRIS and ATS to streamline recruitment, performance tracking, and analytics.
• Analyze HR data and KPIs to provide actionable insights for decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
• Collaborate with leadership to nurture a people‑oriented culture and support organizational development.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (MBA/MS HR preferred).
• 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a startup or high‑growth environment.
• Proven ability to independently manage end‑to‑end HR operations.

Required skills

• Experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS).
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Strong data analysis skills for HR metrics and KPIs.
