HSE&S Specialist – Health, Safety & Sustainability

About the role

We are looking for an HSE&S Specialist to support the HSE & Training Manager in delivering health, safety, environment and sustainability programs across our manufacturing site. The role will help build a proactive safety culture through training, risk management and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct HSE induction and awareness training for employees, contractors and visitors.
• Lead and participate in risk assessments, PSSR, MOC and hazard identification activities.
• Deliver HSE training programs and validate employee competency.
• Monitor and report HSE performance indicators, objectives and compliance requirements.
• Perform workplace inspections, behavioral observations and safety audits.
• Support environmental monitoring, including emissions, effluent, air quality, noise and industrial hygiene assessments.
• Coordinate HSE data collection, verification and reporting.
• Assist implementation of sustainability initiatives and waste management programs.
• Promote Behavioral Based Safety and drive corrective and preventive actions.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of HSE experience in a manufacturing or multinational environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Safety or related field.
• Experience in safety training, risk assessments, audits and regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of process safety management and environmental management systems is preferred.
