About the role

Saeed Mimaar is seeking an experienced freelance HVAC Design Engineer to prepare permit‑ready HVAC drawings for residential and commercial projects across the United States. The work is fully remote and project‑based, allowing you to collaborate from any location.

Key responsibilities

Develop complete HVAC design and permit drawing packages using AutoCAD and Revit.
Perform ACCA Manual J, Manual S, and Manual D calculations, select equipment, size ducts, and design ventilation systems.
Ensure designs comply with US building codes, city‑specific permit requirements, and California Title 24 energy standards.
Review architectural plans and produce code‑compliant HVAC layouts for various US jurisdictions.

Required profile

Proven experience delivering HVAC designs for US residential and commercial projects.
Ability to work independently from concept through final permit documentation.
Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy.
