Import Executive

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Import Executive to join our client’s team in Karachi on a full‑time onsite basis. You will coordinate end‑to‑end import activities, ensuring shipments are booked, cleared and delivered in compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate import processes from shipment booking to customs clearance under supervision.
• Prepare, review and maintain import documents such as invoices, packing lists, BL/AWB and GDs.
• Liaise with foreign suppliers, freight forwarders and clearing agents to ensure smooth handling.
• Track shipment status and follow up for timely clearance and delivery.
• Support compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and filing of all import‑related documents.
• Collaborate with procurement, warehouse and finance departments on import matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in import operations or a similar role.
• Basic understanding of import procedures and documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up independently.
