In-House Counsel

About the role

Lucky Cement Limited is seeking a full‑time In‑House Counsel to join its Karachi office. The role provides legal advice to the Yunus Brothers Group and its subsidiaries on corporate, commercial, regulatory and contractual matters, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of agreements and contracts.
• Prepare and vet legal documents, policies and standard templates.
• Conduct legal risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with external counsel for specialized matters.
• Manage litigation and dispute resolution processes.
• Stay current on corporate, securities, environmental, labor and compliance legislation.
• Support cross‑functional teams and deliver governance and compliance training.

Required profile

• LLB degree from a recognized institution.
• Strong experience in contract drafting, review and negotiation.
• Solid knowledge of corporate, securities and regulatory law, including stock‑exchange compliance.
• Proven ability to conduct legal research, analysis and provide clear opinions.
• Experience in litigation management and dispute resolution.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple deadlines.
