Intern – Student Counseling & Office Support

About the role

The Intern will support daily office operations and student counseling activities at SMi Consultant’s Peshawar office, assisting prospective students with their study abroad journey.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with student inquiries and help prepare application documents.
• Maintain accurate records of prospective students and their preferred study destinations.
• Coordinate appointments and support IELTS preparation and interview guidance sessions.
• Help manage social media or basic outreach tasks related to study abroad opportunities.
• Collaborate with the team to organize information sessions and update databases.

Required profile

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic administrative and organizational abilities, including document handling and data entry.
• Interest in international education and student counseling.
• Good English language skills; familiarity with IELTS is an advantage.
• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree/diploma in education, counseling, business, or related field (preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency with common office software (word processing, spreadsheets, email).
• Comfort using online research tools.
• Ability to work on‑site in Peshawar and collaborate within a team‑oriented environment.
