Internal Auditor

About the role

The Internal Auditor will join ACE Money Transfer’s Internal Audit and Assurance Department at the Liaison Office in Kharian. Reporting to the Group Manager, Internal Audit, the role supports risk‑based audit assignments across the Group’s portfolio of entities, ensuring compliance with IIA standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Execute audit work programs and procedures as assigned, following the approved annual audit plan.
• Develop audit checklists and testing scripts for specific audit sections under guidance.
• Conduct fieldwork including walkthroughs, document reviews, and physical verifications.
• Collect, analyse, and document audit evidence to support findings and conclusions.
• Perform data analysis using Excel and other tools to test transaction populations and identify anomalies.
• Prepare and maintain risk and control matrices for assigned audit areas.
• Draft clear audit working papers and sections of audit reports for review.
• Follow up on management action plans to verify timely implementation.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to independence and objectivity requirements.
• Stay informed of relevant regulations, including AML/CFT, procurement policies, and financial services rules.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of internal audit concepts such as risk, control, and assurance.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to identify discrepancies and inconsistencies.
• Ability to work under supervision and meet audit deadlines.
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Awareness of regulatory requirements applicable to financial services.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
• Experience with audit documentation and working paper preparation.
• Familiarity with IIA Global Internal Audit Standards.
