International Sales Manager – Automobile Export

About the role

We are seeking an experienced International Sales Manager to lead the export of automobiles to markets across Africa, the Caribbean and other regions. The role involves shaping sales strategy, managing dealer networks and overseeing the full vehicle sales cycle from auction sourcing to shipment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute international sales strategies to expand export markets.
• Manage and grow dealer networks across Africa, the Caribbean and emerging regions.
• Lead the end‑to‑end vehicle sales cycle, from auction sourcing to shipment coordination.
• Drive monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
• Negotiate pricing, freight and volume‑based deals with international buyers.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and regional demand.
• Supervise and mentor sales executives where applicable.
• Maintain strong after‑sales relationships to ensure repeat business.

Required profile

• 5+ years of proven experience in international automobile sales/export.
• Demonstrated sales track record in Africa, the Caribbean and other export regions.
• Strong understanding of Japanese auction systems and vehicle grading.
• Excellent English communication (spoken and written).
• Strong leadership, negotiation and closing skills.
• Target‑driven mindset with consistent performance history.
