International Sourcing & Supplier Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced International Sourcing and Supplier Development Manager to lead the procurement of APIs, finished pharmaceutical products, excipients, and packaging materials from global markets. The role focuses on building reliable supply chains that align with our commercial strategy while meeting quality and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and develop international suppliers and manufacturers for pharmaceutical inputs.
• Source products in line with the company’s portfolio objectives and commercial targets.
• Negotiate pricing, MOQs, lead times, payment terms, and supply agreements with overseas partners.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, exporters, and distributors.
• Coordinate with Regulatory Affairs to ensure compliance with DRAP and international regulations.
• Conduct market intelligence, analyze global trends, and uncover new sourcing opportunities.
• Monitor supplier performance on quality, cost, reliability, and delivery timelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience sourcing APIs, finished pharmaceutical products, excipients, or packaging materials from international suppliers.
• Strong negotiation skills for pricing, MOQs, lead times, and contract terms.
• Deep knowledge of global pharmaceutical supply chains and supplier qualification processes.
• Familiarity with DRAP requirements and international regulatory expectations.
• Ability to perform market intelligence, supplier benchmarking, and risk assessment.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑management capabilities.
• Commercial acumen to align sourcing activities with business strategy and cost targets.
