Inventory Manager – Food Chain (Lahore)

About the role

The Inventory Manager (Stock Controller) is responsible for safeguarding and efficiently managing the restaurant’s stock. You will record all deliveries, monitor daily usage, run stock models, and identify any shrinkage or gaps, working closely with the Loss Prevention Officer.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately record incoming stock deliveries and verify against supplier invoices.
• Monitor daily stock usage and ensure it aligns with sales and preparation volumes.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date stock control system with precise figures.
• Run stock models to compare actual versus expected usage and flag discrepancies.
• Conduct regular shrinkage and gap analyses to detect loss, waste, or misuse.
• Collaborate with the Loss Prevention Officer to investigate potential fraud or internal errors.
• Support the Restaurant Manager with corrective actions and tighter controls.
• Assist with routine and surprise stock counts, ensuring recorded levels match physical stock.
• Help improve processes and staff accountability to reduce avoidable losses.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of stock management processes, preferably in a food‑service environment.
• 3‑5 years of experience using inventory systems or spreadsheets to track stock and analyse variances.
• Strong attention to detail and confidence reviewing numbers, logs, and operational data.
• Ability to work closely with loss‑prevention and restaurant management teams.
• Trustworthy, organised, and proactive in preventing losses.
• Capable of working independently while contributing to team success.
