Investment Manager (Islamic Finance)

About the role

Pak-Qatar Group, Pakistan's leading Islamic financial services group, is hiring an Investment Manager for its asset management business. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Peshawar. The Investment Manager evaluates investment opportunities, builds and manages portfolios and ensures alignment with Islamic finance principles and group policies.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate investment opportunities and construct and manage portfolios
• Perform financial and market analysis and monitor fund performance
• Prepare investment reports and present recommendations to senior leadership and clients
• Develop and implement investment strategies and coordinate with research and risk teams
• Maintain regulatory and Shariah compliance
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support product development, optimise asset allocation and contribute to long-term growth

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field; CFA, FRM or Islamic finance certifications are an advantage
• Demonstrated experience in asset management, fund management or investment advisory, preferably in Islamic financial institutions
• Strong communication and presentation skills, and high integrity and attention to detail

• Portfolio construction, asset allocation and financial modelling
• Proficiency in financial analysis tools, MS Excel and relevant investment software
