IoT Engineer (with DevOps)

About the role

InMind Global is hiring an IoT engineer in Faisalabad to connect devices and sensors to its software and keep it running in production. The engineer owns how data flows from the device to the cloud and how it is deployed and monitored. The company cares more about how you think than which tools you have used.

Key responsibilities

• Connect devices and sensors to the systems and make the data flow reliably.
• Design setups that keep working as the number of devices grows.
• Set up the automation and pipelines that ship and run everything.
• Find root causes in production and fix the design, not just the symptom.

Required profile

• 5+ years building and running real systems.
• Hands-on IoT or device integration experience, any stack.
• Working DevOps experience: CI/CD, cloud, containers.
• Solid fundamentals in networking and data flow.
• Habit of choosing simple, scalable solutions over heavy ones.
• Nice to have: familiarity with MQTT or similar protocols, and experience with industrial or SCADA systems.

Required skills

• At least one programming or scripting language used for services, automation or device integration.
• Understanding of IoT communication patterns and protocols such as MQTT, HTTP or related messaging technologies.
• Cloud platforms, Linux administration, containers and service deployment.
• CI/CD pipelines and automation of infrastructure or environment configuration.
• Monitoring, logging, alerting and troubleshooting for distributed systems.
• Network fundamentals, access control, secrets management and secure deployment.

The role is on-site and in a small, fast-moving team. Compensation, location and work arrangement are to be confirmed by HR.
