IT Business Analyst - Microsoft 365 Migration & Endpoint

About the role

NKU Technologies is looking for a Technical Business Analyst (Microsoft 365 & Endpoint) to support enterprise-wide Microsoft 365 migration, endpoint management and platform operations. The role combines hands-on Microsoft 365 administration, technical data analysis and project coordination, supporting migration readiness, validating implementations and working with global IT teams and service providers.

Key responsibilities

• Support tenant-to-tenant Microsoft 365 migration across Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, Purview and Defender.
• Use PowerShell and Microsoft Graph to extract and analyse user, sign-in, licence, mailbox, application and endpoint data.
• Analyse large datasets with advanced Excel, Power Query, PivotTables and Power BI where needed.
• Assess dormant accounts, migration scope, readiness, dependencies and cutover requirements.
• Translate technical requirements into implementation specifications and validate managed service provider deliverables against acceptance criteria.
• Support Intune rollout, including device enrolment, compliance policies, security baselines, application deployment, update rings and BitLocker.
• Apply and review identity and security controls such as MFA, least privilege, external sharing, DLP, sensitivity labels and retention policies.
• Coordinate workstreams, regional IT teams and third-party suppliers, keeping project trackers, risks, decisions, dependencies and action items.
• Provide hands-on configuration and troubleshooting for access, Outlook, Teams, MFA and post-migration issues.
• Prepare technical documentation, user guidance, readiness reports and recommendations for stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft 365 administration and configuration experience.
• Understanding of Microsoft 365 migrations, endpoint management, device compliance, identity and security controls.
• Strong analytical, documentation, troubleshooting and project coordination skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams independently.
• Preferred: experience with enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 migrations, global Intune deployments and managed service providers.

Required skills
