IT Infrastructure Manager (Cloud)

About the role

BlueGeko is looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure / SysAdmin Manager to take full ownership of its cloud infrastructure, costs, architecture, security and performance. The role combines cloud architecture, DevOps oversight and systems administration. It is an on-site position at a brand-new, modern office in Lahore, with lunches included.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously review the cloud infrastructure and the DevOps team.
• Monitor system performance, security, reliability and scalability.
• Track cloud spending, identify unnecessary costs and implement optimizations.
• Oversee server management, monitoring, backups and disaster recovery.
• Troubleshoot critical infrastructure issues and ensure high availability.
• Plan and execute infrastructure improvements, migrations and cost-saving initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps or systems administration.
• Ability to independently assess technical decisions and manage infrastructure operations.
• Nice to have: hands-on cost optimization experience and experience overseeing DevOps engineers or infrastructure teams.

Required skills

• Strong Kubernetes and Terraform / Infrastructure as Code knowledge.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, DigitalOcean or similar platforms.
• Strong Linux/Windows server administration.
• Monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or CloudWatch.
• Knowledge of SQL databases, networking, security and managed infrastructure.
