IT Officer

About the role

IDR is seeking a proactive IT Officer to manage and support its information technology systems. The role ensures smooth operation of IT infrastructure, maintains security, and provides technical assistance to end‑users across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Azure Active Directory and Microsoft 365 user accounts, licenses, and admin centre services (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams).
• Troubleshoot Windows, Office, network connections, desktop applications and resolve hardware/software issues.
• Provide remote support, create documentation, and handle help‑desk ticketing and IT asset management.
• Perform routine system checks, install, configure, upgrade operating systems, and support LAN/WAN infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls).
• Assist with audio‑visual setups and conference‑room equipment.
• Conduct network troubleshooting, manage firewall settings, and oversee endpoint security solutions.
• Monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, and ensure compliance with information security policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 4‑5 years of hands‑on experience in a similar IT support/administration role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, handle changing expectations and take ownership of tasks.

• Full‑time schedule: 09:00 AM – 06:00 PM.
• Permanent contract.
