IT Solution Architect – PLM & Engineering Solutions

About the role

The IT Solution Architect designs and enhances PLM and engineering application solutions that support product data and project lifecycle processes. The role ensures secure, reliable collaboration across engineering, product, quality, operations, and project teams while aligning with approved business and technology strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end architectures for PLM, product data management, project lifecycle, and engineering collaboration workflows.
• Configure, enhance, and maintain Arena PLM and related engineering applications according to established standards.
• Apply architectural standards and recommend PLM‑specific patterns, roles, permissions, workflows, and best practices.
• Support item, BOM, document control, change management, approval, release, and project lifecycle processes.
• Ensure consistent, traceable, and reliable product and engineering data across ERP, CAD/EDA, manufacturing, quality, document management, and reporting platforms.
• Document data flows, integration requirements, and source‑of‑truth, data‑ownership, and lifecycle‑status approaches.
• Act as a bridge between IT, engineering, product, quality, operations, project teams, and external vendors; run design reviews and facilitate workshops.

• Senior‑level technical and functional contributor with strong data‑quality and traceability focus.
• Accountable for technical quality and production readiness of PLM solutions.
• Ability to communicate complex architectural concepts clearly to cross‑functional stakeholders.
