IT Specialist / IT Officer

About the role

GRP Engineers & Consultants is hiring an IT Specialist / IT Officer for its office in DHA Phase 2, Lahore. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience supporting computers, computer systems, networking, printers and CCTV camera systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for computers, laptops and office IT equipment.
• Install, configure and maintain Windows operating systems and software.
• Manage LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches and network connectivity.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot printers, scanners and printing systems.
• Install, configure, monitor and maintain CCTV cameras and surveillance systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, internet, email and network issues.
• Maintain IT equipment inventory and technical documentation.
• Perform routine system maintenance, data backups and basic network security.
• Support office staff day to day and keep IT operations running smoothly.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Practical knowledge of computer hardware, Windows OS and networking.
• Experience with printers, scanners and CCTV systems.
• Knowledge of routers, switches, LAN, Wi-Fi and network troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Previous IT support or networking experience preferred; relevant certifications such as CCNA are an advantage.
