IT Support Executive

About the role

Infinity Media is hiring an IT Support Executive for its Tech Ops team in Lahore. This is a level-1 support role based in the office in Gulberg III, working Monday to Saturday from 9am to 6pm. You will be the first point of contact for IT problems in the office, set up and maintain Windows computers and look after the IT inventory. The main job is level-1 support; candidates with additional skills will be preferred and given more responsibility over time.

Key responsibilities

• User support: respond to IT requests, troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, monitors, headsets and Wi-Fi, install software, reset passwords and record requests, escalating what you cannot fix
• Windows setup: install Windows 10/11, add drivers and standard software, connect to the office network and prepare the machine for the user
• Inventory management: keep records of asset tags, users, spare parts and consumables such as toner, follow up warranty claims and repairs with vendors
• New joiners and leavers: prepare desks and equipment for new staff and collect and reset equipment when someone leaves
• Attendance devices: register new staff on biometric machines, check they work and report faults
• Cabling and equipment: keep network cables neat and labelled, replace faulty cables and check that security cameras work
• Documentation: keep simple step-by-step guides and keep the inventory list up to date

Required profile

• 1-2 years of experience in IT support, help desk or computer hardware; fresh graduates with strong practical skills may also apply
• DAE or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field
• Organised and reliable, with attention to detail in record keeping
• Polite and clear communication in Urdu and English

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Windows 10/11: installation, drivers, updates and troubleshooting
• Able to open a PC and replace or upgrade parts such as RAM, SSD and power supply
• Basic networking: IP addresses, Wi-Fi and network cables
• Preferred: Active Directory, Windows Server basics, networking (routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points, firewalls), Linux basics, PowerShell or batch scripting, biometric attendance devices or ERP software, and certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA or Microsoft
