Jr. Costing & Construction Planner / Schedule Monitoring Engineer

About the role

A junior Costing & Construction Planner / Schedule Monitoring Engineer is sought to support project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring and cost control for the Dasu Hydropower Project. The role covers schedule development, construction progress tracking, performance analysis and planning and cost reports.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, update and monitor project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
• Monitor construction progress and compare actual performance against planned targets
• Support project costing, budgeting and resource allocation
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, S-curves and schedule analyses
• Coordinate with construction, engineering and procurement teams on schedule updates
• Identify schedule delays and help develop mitigation and recovery plans
• Maintain project planning databases and documentation
• Assist with earned value and productivity analyses
• Support review of contractors' work programs and progress claims
• Take part in coordination meetings and prepare planning presentations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an HEC-recognized university
• 2-5 years of experience in planning, scheduling, project controls or construction management
• Experience on hydropower, dam, tunnel, infrastructure or large construction projects preferred
• Strong analytical, communication and reporting skills

Required skills

• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project and Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of project costing, resource planning and schedule monitoring
• Earned value analysis, resource loading and tracking
