Junior Accountant – Remote (Pakistan)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to join our fully remote team supporting U.S. clients. The role involves handling core accounting tasks while communicating regularly with clients via video and chat platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable for multiple clients.
• Perform bank and credit‑card reconciliations.
• Prepare periodic financial statements.
• Enter invoices and maintain accurate financial records in cloud‑based accounting software.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance across accounting platforms.
• Respond to client and internal queries through Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Slack, and email.
• Assist the Team Manager with additional accounting and administrative tasks.

Required profile

• MBA (Finance) or BSc/BS in Finance or Accounting, or part‑qualified ACCA.
• Strong understanding of accounting and finance fundamentals.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Reliable high‑speed internet and availability to work full‑time during U.S. business hours (6 PM – 3 AM Pakistan time, Monday‑Friday).

Required skills

• QuickBooks or Xero (or similar cloud‑based accounting platforms).
• Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Microsoft Teams, Slack, and Zoom for communication.
