Junior Accounts & Tax Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Accounts & Tax Officer to join our finance team in Rawalpindi. The role focuses on day‑to‑day bookkeeping, ledger maintenance and basic tax compliance. The successful candidate will support the accounting department while gaining practical experience in tax filing and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain ledgers and financial records accurately.
• Prepare invoices, reconcile accounts and support daily bookkeeping tasks.
• Assist with sales tax, GST and withholding tax compliance and filings.
• Generate and update financial documentation and reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounts and taxation.
• Detail‑oriented, organized and strong analytical abilities.
• Reliable personal conveyance and preferably residing near Rawat Industrial Area.

Required skills

• Understanding of accounting principles.
• Experience with ledgers and reconciliations.
• Invoicing and bookkeeping proficiency.
• Basic knowledge of sales tax, GST and withholding tax.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting software.
