About the role
We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our Lahore office and support a UK‑based accounting firm that serves law firms. The role offers exposure to a range of accounting software and UK tax compliance tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Enter banking transactions and sales/purchase invoices into client software.
- Perform bank reconciliations and run month‑end and year‑end reports.
- Process payroll using Sage 50 Payroll.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns.
- Assist clients with year‑end audits.
- Prepare and file company accounts with Companies House.
- Prepare and submit personal and corporate tax returns to HMRC.
Required profile
- Fresh graduate to 1 year of experience.
- ACCA, CA, CMA qualification or at least 16 years of education in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
- Available to work 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM PST, Monday to Friday.
- Full‑time permanent position.
