Junior Financial Analyst

About the role

The Junior Financial Analyst will support core accounting and financial operations across multiple operating companies within Banyan Canopy Group. This in‑office position offers exposure to US GAAP reporting, global finance processes, and the integration of newly acquired entities.

Key responsibilities

• Execute month‑end close activities, including journal entries and financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP.
• Process and review GL, AP, and AR transactions, maintain balance‑sheet reconciliations, and support day‑to‑day accounting operations.
• Assist with audit documentation, cash‑flow tracking, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Support integration of newly acquired companies, including reconciliations, process alignment, and basic acquisition accounting schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience with strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and US GAAP.
• Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and good analytical and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
