Junior Recruiter

About the role

VASL is looking for a proactive and results-driven Junior Recruiter to join its team in Islamabad/Rawalpindi. The role suits someone with hands-on recruitment experience who can source, screen and engage qualified candidates across various roles and industries. It is a full-time, onsite position with working hours from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM (PKT).

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing and attracting candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, job boards, referrals and proactive outreach.
• Screening resumes, conducting initial interviews and shortlisting qualified candidates.
• Coordinating interviews and keeping regular contact with candidates.
• Building and maintaining active candidate pipelines, including backup candidates.
• Managing several open positions while working toward recruitment deadlines.
• Maintaining accurate recruitment trackers and giving regular hiring updates.
• Identifying sourcing challenges and exploring alternative approaches to attract suitable candidates.
• Supporting the recruitment process from sourcing through candidate selection and onboarding coordination.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant recruitment or talent acquisition experience.
• Strong English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies and meet deadlines.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach.
• Experience recruiting for international clients is a plus.
