Junior Rollout Specialist – Power Infrastructure

About the role

The Junior Rollout Specialist will support the deployment of power infrastructure at telecom sites, ensuring that all electrical systems are installed, commissioned and maintained according to project specifications. This role involves close coordination with vendors, contractors and Mobile Network Operator teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute power infrastructure deployment after civil works completion.
• Coordinate transportation, installation and commissioning of DG/RDG, rectifiers, cabinets, battery banks, RMS, solar panels, ATS, MCCB and related equipment.
• Collaborate with MNO teams for equipment installation, reporting and hand‑over.
• Provide ongoing support for power system upgrades and troubleshooting at site level.
• Supervise on‑site activities, verify equipment, conduct alarm testing and manage acceptance procedures.
• Track daily progress and produce regular Excel and PowerPoint reports.
• Manage subcontractor performance, training and documentation (PAT/HOTO).
• Lead a small team of Power Engineers and ensure alignment with cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecom, Electrical or Electronics engineering.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in a similar rollout role.
• Strong communication, leadership and team‑building abilities.
• Willingness to travel to sites on a flexible schedule.

Required skills

• Installation and commissioning of DG/RDG, rectifiers, battery banks, solar systems, ATS and MCCB.
• Hands‑on experience with RMS (Remote Monitoring System) for DG, CP, DC and fuel monitoring.
• Site‑level power infrastructure troubleshooting and PI testing.
• Knowledge of HSE protocols and implementation on site.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for reporting.
• Familiarity with PAT/HOTO documentation processes.
