Kotlin Developer (On-site, Islamabad)

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Kotlin Developer to join our team in Islamabad. You will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining high‑quality applications using Kotlin, while collaborating closely with product, QA and UI/UX teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Kotlin‑based applications (Android and/or backend).
• Implement new features, fix bugs and write unit and integration tests.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architecture and technical design discussions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including product management, QA and UI/UX.
• Improve application performance, development workflows, tooling and documentation.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin with experience delivering production‑grade applications.
• Hands‑on experience with modern frameworks and tools such as Android SDK, Jetpack, Ktor or Spring Boot, RESTful APIs and Git.
• Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming, design patterns and clean‑architecture principles (MVVM, MVP, layered).
• Experience with unit, integration and test‑automation testing practices.
• Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases and basic performance‑optimization techniques.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a team, communicate clearly and document work concisely.
