L2/L3 Cloud Implementation Engineer - Citrix, Microsoft 365 and Azure

About the role

XTIUM is looking for an L2/L3 Cloud Implementation Engineer to deliver and support Microsoft, Citrix, Microsoft 365 and Azure solutions for its customers. You will take escalations from the L1/L2 service desk, resolve complex incidents and carry out hands-on implementation, migration and optimisation projects, working closely with L3 architects and customer technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and support Azure IaaS and PaaS, hybrid connectivity (Site-to-Site VPN, Azure Firewall, DNS), Azure Monitor, Defender for Cloud, Azure Policy, RBAC and Azure Virtual Desktop
• Implement and support Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops and DaaS, including NetScaler (Citrix ADC) and ADM
• Support Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, WSUS, Intune and device management
• Own L2 incident, problem and change tickets in line with SLAs (ServiceNow) and produce technical documentation such as runbooks and handover notes
• Escalate to and collaborate with L3 and vendor support, and mentor L1 colleagues; take part in on-call and out-of-hours maintenance windows

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years in an L2 or implementation engineering role in a managed services or enterprise environment
• Strong 2nd/3rd line troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience supporting Windows devices and Microsoft environments, and good networking fundamentals
• Experience with device management, deployment and IT service management systems, and contributing to IT projects
• Desirable: Microsoft and Citrix certifications, ITIL Foundation, and experience in a multi-customer MSP environment
