Lead Auditor / Contract Officer

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and meticulous QMS Lead Auditor specializing in ISO 9001, API Spec Q1, and API Spec Q2 frameworks. The role combines auditing, contract management, and supplier coordination within a heavy manufacturing and oil & gas environment.

Key responsibilities

• Write and review terms and conditions in contracts, tenders, and proposals to ensure compliance with local laws and company policies.
• Negotiate with vendors and business partners to secure optimal pricing, legal terms, and service delivery schedules.
• Monitor compliance with safety, health, and regulatory standards across all parties.
• Serve as the primary contact for suppliers, managing renewals, updates, and contract terminations.
• Maintain an organized digital and physical filing system for all active, pending, and expired agreements.
• Plan, lead, and execute internal, supplier, and certification‑readiness audits, ensuring engineering, manufacturing, and operational processes meet international quality benchmarks and energy‑sector regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline.
• CQI/IRCA Lead Auditor certification for ISO 9001 and knowledge of API Q1 standards.
• Minimum of 2 years auditing experience in heavy manufacturing, oil & gas, or petrochemical environments.
• Ability to interpret highly technical design files, traceability records, and material data sheets.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective conflict resolution.
