Lead Mobile Developer – Remote

About the role

DigitalTolk is seeking a Lead Mobile Developer to head the development of its cross‑platform mobile applications. The role is fully remote and combines hands‑on coding with technical leadership, working closely with product, design and backend teams to deliver reliable, high‑quality experiences for users in healthcare, legal and municipal sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and maintenance of Vue.js/Capacitor mobile apps for iOS and Android.
• Implement new features, optimise performance and ensure app stability.
• Contribute to native codebases using Swift for iOS and Java/Kotlin for Android when required.
• Own the release process, including App Store and Google Play submissions.
• Monitor application health with Sentry and Firebase Crashlytics and resolve production issues promptly.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
• Collaborate with product, design and backend engineers throughout the development lifecycle.
• Improve development, testing and deployment workflows, leveraging AI tools such as Claude.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong commercial background with Vue.js or React Native.
• Proven experience building native iOS apps with Swift and Android apps with Java or Kotlin.
• Track record of publishing and maintaining apps on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript and modern state‑management libraries.
