Lead Reporting Specialist

About the role

The Lead Reporting Specialist ensures accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting. Working closely with business divisions, sub‑ledger teams, auditors and internal stakeholders, the role supports month‑end and year‑end close processes and delivers high‑quality financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly closing packs and financial statements with precision and on schedule.
• Process general ledger entries, accruals and monitor GL controls.
• Liaise with business divisions and sub‑ledger teams to close financial reporting packs.
• Conduct aging analyses and variance analysis against budget.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and resolve variances.
• Test and validate financial dashboards and reports for accuracy.
• Enforce compliance with reporting policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Identify reporting risks and support mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• CA Finalist (Finance) with completed articles from a reputable firm.
• Hands‑on exposure to financial reporting, audits and compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and financial analysis abilities.
• High attention to detail and strong data‑accuracy orientation.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with SAP financial reporting modules.
