Lecturer (Full-time)

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Lecturer to join the faculty at The University of Faisalabad, Faisalabad. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality lectures, tutorials and practical sessions in their area of expertise, supporting the university’s commitment to student‑centered learning and research excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials and laboratory sessions aligned with the university curriculum.
• Design lesson plans, assessments and grading rubrics; evaluate assignments and examinations.
• Maintain accurate academic records and provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development and accreditation activities.
• Engage in research or scholarly activities, including literature review, data analysis and dissemination of findings.

Required profile

• Advanced academic qualification – minimum Master’s degree; PhD or enrolment in a doctoral program preferred.
• Demonstrated higher‑education teaching experience with student‑centred methods.
• Ability to conduct or support research and scholarly work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for diverse student populations.
• Commitment to ethical, inclusive and non‑discriminatory teaching practices.
• Willingness to contribute to departmental and institutional committees and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems for course delivery and grading.
• Data analysis for research projects.
• Academic writing for publications and reports.
