Legal Counsel – Fintech & Crypto

About the role

Fasset is seeking a proactive Legal Counsel to join its in‑house legal team. The role focuses on supporting the company’s crypto‑exchange, OTC and digital‑asset platform operations, ensuring compliance with evolving fintech regulations across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, redline and negotiate a variety of contracts including NDAs, vendor agreements, SaaS/tech agreements, marketing and partnership agreements.
• Provide legal input on product launches, feature updates and customer‑facing terms, assessing risk and consistency.
• Maintain and update customer terms, platform terms, OTC agreements, risk disclosures and privacy notices.
• Conduct first‑pass legal reviews for cross‑functional requests from Compliance, Product, Operations, Finance and Sales.
• Support regulatory and compliance initiatives by coordinating responses, preparing documentation and tracking deliverables.
• Research crypto and fintech regulatory developments and produce concise internal notes.
• Manage contract lifecycle hygiene, including trackers, approvals, renewal monitoring and document repository organization.
• Assist with dispute resolution, risk management and corporate housekeeping tasks as needed.

Required profile

• 1–4 years of post‑qualification legal experience, preferably with prior in‑house exposure.
• Demonstrable experience in crypto, virtual assets, fintech or financial services.
• Familiarity with crypto exchanges, digital‑asset platforms or regulated financial‑services businesses.

Required skills

• Strong contract drafting and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent legal research and analytical skills.
• Ability to interpret and apply fintech and crypto regulatory frameworks.
