Linux Systems Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Linux Systems Administrator to manage, maintain, secure, and optimise our Linux‑based infrastructure across multiple locations in Pakistan. The role involves hands‑on installation, configuration, automation and performance monitoring of Linux servers.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot Linux servers (RHEL, Rocky, AlmaLinux, Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Perform server provisioning, patching, upgrades and configuration management using Ansible or similar tools.
• Implement security hardening, vulnerability remediation and manage user permissions, sudo, SSH and system services.
• Monitor system health, resource utilisation and performance; analyse logs and metrics.
• Automate routine tasks with Bash, Shell scripting and Python.
• Manage packages, repositories, LVM, storage and backup/recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with Network, Security, DevOps and Application teams and participate in incident management.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of hands‑on Linux administration experience.
• Strong problem‑solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Security‑focused mindset with ability to follow best‑practice hardening.
• Good communication and documentation abilities; can work independently or in a team.
