Macroeconomist (Remote)

About the role

This remote position focuses on building and maintaining macroeconomic models using EViews for a leading technology client. You will analyze economic trends, forecast scenarios, and translate insights into strategic recommendations that influence policy and operational decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and refine macroeconomic models in EViews to simulate policy impacts and economic scenarios.
• Analyze historical and real‑time economic data to identify trends and inform model assumptions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to turn model outputs into actionable insights.
• Document methodologies, assumptions, and model limitations for transparency and reproducibility.
• Present findings to non‑technical audiences through reports and presentations.

Required profile

• Strong background in macroeconomics, econometrics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Experience with time‑series data analysis and economic forecasting.
• Ability to communicate complex economic concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
