Maintenance Lead – HSSE Compliance & Team Management

About the role

The Maintenance Lead will oversee operational maintenance across regional service stations, ensuring strict adherence to Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) standards. This position combines supplier management, budget control, and proactive service delivery to protect asset integrity and support the Customer Value Proposition.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and validate HSSE compliance for all maintenance activities.
• Manage supplier accreditation, re‑accreditation, and performance monitoring.
• Supervise the Permit to Work (PTW) system, providing training and certification oversight.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and conduct regular asset condition surveys.
• Prepare reports for bi‑weekly and monthly operational meetings.
• Develop and execute the annual maintenance planning cycle, controlling budget allocation and spend.
• Analyze financial variances, adjust forecasts, and verify maintenance invoices.
• Coordinate with project, supply‑chain, and procurement teams to optimize supplier performance and cost.

Required profile

• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Technical knowledge of maintenance in fuel‑station or petroleum environments.
• Experience managing small teams and HSSE‑focused initiatives.
• Proficiency in analyzing operational data and maintaining accurate asset records.
